Finally back....
It about 5 am and I am still up. Gotta love my messed up sleep schedule. I basically run myself till I pass out anymore. I didn't have to work tonight so I have to reason for still being up. I thought someone was gonna meet up with me and hang out but once again I was wrong on that one. Getting pretty use to that by now. So tonight I was flipping through the channels and came across a Papa Roach music video. That video took me instantly back to my high school years. I don't look back and see my high school years as being great because I went through so much in those four year. But I always know that I did have some great times with my close friends. Just stupid stuff, like going out and bowling, playing pool or just driving around Fort Wayne. Some of those nights that we couldn't figure out what to do so we just drove around town were some of the greatest nights that I had in my high schools years. Just driving around with my boys just having a great time not really doing much of anything. In high school there were five of us that were the "group," "click," whatever you want to call it, and we had some great times together. "I wonder what a glass bottle will do when you touch it on the concrete while driving down the street in my buddies car...." p.s. it shatters and will cut the crap out of your hand, found that one out the hard way....don't know what I was thinking. Its almost never a good idea to live in the past but its nice to look back at those times in your life that as soon as they come to mind you just get a really big smile on your face. Hopefully, some day I will be able to look back at my college years and have a smile on my face. I have had a few moments that I will forever remember as a great time, and some others that I wish to forget. One thing that I always think is interesting to look back upon is crush's that someone has. Think back to who you had a crush on in either high school or your college career and just see where things ended up on that one. People don't tend to see some things that are right in front of them because they seem to take them for granted. I know that I take a lot for granted and I really need to appreciate what I have in my life. I got a small glimpse of that when I had my knee surgery and couldn't walk normal for about two months after that. Of course I had my surgery in the middle of winter which made things even more interesting. But not being able to just walk normally up to a building, out to the car or even around your house, most people don't know what that feels like. Because of those things people need to realize that things are not granted. There is a saying that there are only two definite things in life, Taxes and Death. The only thing that people should really take for granted is that some day they will pass on, because tomorrow is never a guarantee. My minor case of ADD is really kicking in now so I am done with this entry. Until the next time, let those around you know your true feelings, because tomorrow is not granted and you may never have a chance to again.
